Mar 22, 2019 · TJ Guru. The purge solenoid on the drivers side fender (at least on an 04) can leak into the intake manifold. It will cause an evap code. On a 2004 it is the only thing in the engine compartment that can cause an evap code. It ties to one of the three lines that feeds back to the tank area.
