The KS-47 is based on the AR-15 platform, but features the 7.62×39 stopping power of the AK. The KS-47 reviewed is shown with a Nikon P-Tactical Superdot and a Riton riflescope. On the Range there are a lot of hard surfaces that the blast is bouncing off of. In the field there are only soft surfaces that dampen the blast. Suppression is very subjective with the immediate surrounding area having a big affect on how the blast affects you. 3 Likes.
