I know this is late but I use nagakiba with vykes dragon bolt or whatever to coat armament in red lightning with the lightning scorpion charm and shard of alexander and carian filigreed crest and you can just spam sword dance and do insane amounts of damage for like no fp cost at all.

If you're using the Blood scaling type, you can't grease it. You'll have to use Standard scaling. I think if a weapon causes a passive effect you can't put a grease of the same effect on it.
