I've recommended 2/18 barbarian/cleric human before for solo hardcore gameplay. This starts with 2 barbarian, then goes full cleric. Blood tribute from barbarian is a phenomenal defensive tool that falls off at higher levels. Warpriest cleric is sturdy with a lot of defense, and doesn't lose much at all going 18 levels compared to 20.

This build uses Eldritch Blast Shape: Chain, one Eldritch Burst, Eldritch Ball, and Celestial Spirit. Fiend is a lethal instant killer but is awful to level as a non tiefling as half the things in the later parts of the game are resistant/immune to fire damage.For a tank Warlock, you generally get more value from Brilliance and Feigned Health IMO. For certain Shining Through is nice, but it's only 4x the value of Brilliance, and the 30s CD vs 2s free refresh (up to 5s if you're multiclass) is a pretty large divide. Voodos build is a nice flavor build, but a (nearly?) ubercomp tank with 350 prr and 4.3k hp, ehhhh. Also, no consume/stricken on a warlock is a serious fucking crime lol.
