I saw a strange looking FAL at the gun show today. It didn't have any markings on the receiver except some small lightly etched writing under the ejection port that said FG002. It was a metric and I don't know much about metrics but it had a straight comb stock , metal handguards, and a stoll FH that didn't have the slots cut all the way through.FAL Files Administrator. What I think I know for sure is it's on a L1A1 lower with an inch bolt and bolt carrier and the upper is a SAC import from the 90's with the import mark in the magwell. The serial number on the barrel matches the receiver and there is a small x looking mark at the bottom of the barrel under the handguards.The headstamp is OFV '75, and the ammo looks clean, bullets are crimped, primers are sealed with a blueish laquer. Knew it was Indian, but being it was 70s manufacture, grabbed it, good blasting ammo, can save my good stuff for non-blasting use, but the dealer had it marked as being New Zealand contract ammo. #6.
