Jul 9, 2021 · Interval recording is an excellent option for behaviors that don’t have a discrete beginning or end or occur too frequently. Interval recording includes whole interval, partial interval, and momentary time sampling. With partial interval recording you record the presence of the behavior if it occurred for any part of the interval. A momentary time sample (MTS) does not require continuous observation. At the end of each interval you observe the individual, you then record the presence or absence of the behavior at that moment.
