The mark on your Luger doesn't follow military directives either. My best guess is a post war Weimar era mark, possibly police or para-military but not likely military.I have a 9mm 1917/1920 DWM and have been photographically recording markings and looking them up. There were two Thalmann sites in Suhl. 1/1001 and 2/1001 were the concealment codes. These are very high quality and usable magazines and make excellent magazines for shooter Lugers.
