The mark on your Luger doesn't follow military directives either. My best guess is a post war Weimar era mark, possibly police or para-military but not likely military.I have a 9mm 1917/1920 DWM and have been photographically recording markings and looking them up. The right receiver has the normal German military receiver proofs of 1914-1918.2/1001 is the concealment code of Ernst Thalmann in Suhl Germany. There were two Thalmann sites in Suhl. 1/1001 and 2/1001 were the concealment codes. These are very high quality and usable magazines and make excellent magazines for shooter Lugers. The machined and welded body is the best of all the magazines produced for the Luger.
