Marcasite mineral
Marcasite is iron disulfide FeS 2 and often contains small amounts of Sb and As. It is chemically identical with cubic pyrite, but it is typical for low temperature environments up to surface conditions. Marcasite recrystallizes to pyrite above 425-450°C, but their relationship and exact stability fields are still not clear.Non-metallic minerals are minerals that have no metallic luster and break easily.
