this is a proof of concept super safety trip bar for the db9 alloy, I do not have a super safety to test it on so hopefully someone else can give it a shot. There are two versions, one uses the bolt face and the other uses the front of the bolt to pull the activator forwards. A V2.4 AR-15 Super Lower was used in the video, but the process applies to LR-308 and newer lowers as well. In the below video I show a better way to install the front take down pin. It’s a much better method then the one demonstrated in the above video.The AR-9 lower(AR-15 style lower chambered in 9mm) is based on the Hoffman Tactical V3.0 Super AR-15 Lower. The AR-9 utilized Glock-style magazines and a 3D printed mag catch/ejector. The only non-AR-15 part required is the 3/32″ x 1″ roll pin for the mag catch.
