Posted May 2, 2015. I have been reading a huge amount on light recoil 9mm loads. Most suggested 147gr. I have xtreme 147gr RN. The powders I can choose from are Power Pistol, Silhouette, Bullseye, CFE Pistol, Unique, Titegroup and 231. I have found some suggested loads but many are for lead bullets and the OAL ranges from 1.100" to 1.165".I buy boxes of Xtreme Bullets at Phillips Wholesale in Covina California. Empty boxes are put to use by a friend who collects \ cleans \ sells brass. I use Starline brass, CCI SPP primers and Alliant Unique powder. All assembled in a Hornady AP press. I phoned yesterday to request some free samples (.38 wadcutter and semiwadcutters).

Fairly decent pricing @ $39.00 (total, shipping included) for a 500ct package. So I was wondering if anyone here has tried that particular combo in the past (X-Treme 124grn FP 0.355" 9mm with Unique powder). I have loaded thousands of these and have no complaints. I have used Berry's also in the past and see no differences in accuracy. To that end my load data for both is the same.

That's exactly what you're doing. As an example: my plinking load for 40S&W is 5.5 grains of Unique topped by a 180 grain X-treme bullet. I get about 980 FPS with that load.
