Step 2: Hopper and Barrel. most important thing on here. it had to be able to drop the green rod in all by itself with out a rubberband because that would put to much stress on the motor (it is already stressed because it has to pull the ram back and move the tank). the instructions are almost step by step adding one peace at a time. some times ...1.Pull back the top slide of teh gun to cock it. 2.Release the top slide, it should jump back to its original position, and leave the ram rod cocked. 3.Put a blue rod into the barrel. 4.Put your finger on top of the rubber band that holds the trigger. I wanted to make it as realistic as possible, but realised that wasn't 100% possible. Actual Minigun barells are only connecred at one point, but with knex, you would need two points. I took this into account, and eventually decided to connect the handle and barell, which gave a firm base to add the main 'shell' of the gun. Step 6: Putting the Connectors on the Frame. this step is simple really you just need to put orange connectors on the weakest parts of one side of the frame like shown below. you don't have to do it the way I did but remember to leave a gap between the back and the front of the barrel. Also put a blue rod at the very front. In this step, I will show you where to add the rubber bands and how to fire. Pic 1= add rubber bands to the firing pin. Pic 2= add rubber bands to the block trigger. Pic 3= pull back the firing pin using the string you attached to it. Pic 4= put the ammo in the barrel and push it up until about the last brownish clip.First u make all the pieces. Then you connect the pieces. The you load the gun and fire. If you followed the pics right the orange ammo should shoot out. Loading can be confusing insert the orange piece (the ammo) underneath the white piece on top of the gun. You build two sides that hold the Gears within, then you attach the ex-centric rods that make the legs move and walk. Making this thing walk isn't easy.
