I’m working on a Generac 17kw, serial #8100516,:model #0058731. Nexus control shows RPM SENSE LOSS. I reset code and tried to start it by pushing the manual button and all I heard was a click sound. No crank what so ever. Checked battery and it was good, putting out over 13 volts. Checked both battery posts and cleaned them, but still …My Generac 6551 22kW generator is having 1505 RPM Sense Loss alarm code issues. This seems intermittent and some weeks it will exercise normally, and other weeks I will see the red alarm light on the side and see this code on the screen. When reset, the unit seems to start normally in Manual mode and run until I put the unit back into Off.
