My wife and I both hunt with the 7mm-08, we have identical Rem 700 SPS Buckmasters with 24" barrels. Both shoot sub half MOA with the 139gr SST and with the 120gr Balliatic Tip. - 41.0gr of IMR-4064 with the 139gr SST, WLR primers. Currently working up a load for the 154gr SST, I'm at a 0.8" group so needs more work.0. 0 reviews. I would consult other load manuals such as Sierra or go online at Nosler and you should find the 7 08 and 150 grain bullet this will give you a minimum and maximum starting point for the several powders that would be listed. My Sierra manual shows minimum of IMR 4350 37.7 2400fps and maximum of 44.2 2700 fps.

A friend of mine shot some factory loads with this bullet and said that he was really happy with how it performed so I was thinking about getting a box to try in my rifle with either big game or IMR4064 since that's what I've got.I did see a max load of 44.6 gr of Varget with a listed velocity of 3,050 fps which I'm assuming would be at or close to max, if not a bit past. I've never loaded that hot. Didn't see any accuracy data for it. Seems to me that your load would be hard to beat ….

So far it shoots well provided the bullets are 140 grains and the powder is IMR 4350. Velocity with 46grs and a 140 Nosler BT is 2600fps over my chronograph. 47grs and a 139gr Hornady flatbase is 2700.
