Also, what are the best materials for a mage staff? I assume some dragon materials are recommended, but are there any others that should be considered? #4359989. Staff of corruption can get pretty beefy for raw damage. Highest dps Schematic, Tier 4, comes from The Descent DLC. Best Crit stats come from the Seer Staff, Tier 3, non-DLC. Have played inquisition since 2015 countless saves and characters but I finally am doing a rift mage build.
