Nearly 6 hours in have 5 assembly machines, 4 miners, 3 stone furnaces, 1 boiler/2 steam engine ...My favourite peninsula seed. Is it me or is there no stone. Seed: 1062488452. On the bottom (not visible on the screen) there is a bit more of land and then water. The only connection is on the left side that is visible on screen, no other ways in. It has a lot of iron, copper, coal, oil and even a bit of uranium, and its a huge area.

At the very least it lets you view the map enough to know if you like a given seed. You can regenerate over and over using different seeds until you find one you like then use that seed to make a game ... Amazing Defensive Seed with only 150% Water Coverage. It makes the world basically into a big island with a fair amount of ore in a donut of water surrounded by mainland.
