A large flock of our flying friends hunkered down in open water on the north end of Creel until mid-December when it finally froze over so ice is still playing catch-up. We now have groups following us out to our fish houses with full-size vehicles. So once again not much has changed here in North Dakota as far as the ice, snow, slush and access for hard shacks and vehicles without tracks. If you are looking at Devils Lake you are really limited. Plowed access and s available at Woodland, East Bay Resort and the Casino.
