W my January baby I was 0 at 36 weeks, 1 at 37, 1 at my 38 week apt and he came two days later. With my July baby, I was 0 at 36 weeks, and 0 at 37 weeks. Went into labor at 37+1, at hospital was 2 after 2 days of contractions, and then had to have a c section because baby was transverse.Dilation means nothing unless you are in labor. It could be days or weeks. I've been 4cm dilated since 36 weeks. 38+3 now and still no progress . With my 2nd, I was 1cm at 35 weeks. I birthed spontaneously at 40+6. It's whenever your body decides it's time.
