Yes the butt feed 22s are a little more reliable and a bit easier to clean. The loading and clearing of the weapon is more of a pain than a mag gun you got to pay attention to rounds stickin in tube and that is a accident waitin to happen. Like.I never owned a tube fed Marlin 22lr bolt.I do have 3 Marlin 60's and I do like the tube fed better than the 7 rd mags on my 25N and 925.
