I am undecided between a Supernote A5 X and a Boox Note Air 2: I mainly need a tablet to write notes during conferences, take notes on pdfs of scientific papers and synchronize them with program accessible via computer. I have watched a few videos of the DeepGuide Youtube channel but still I have some doubts.As for RM2, you can't compare the vast uses and apps that you can use on Boox compared to RM2. RM2 is a beautiful device, but I refuse to pay a subscription for basic features found on every other e-ink device. Boox is just more versatile. My first e-ink tablet was a Supernote A5X, which was good and has the best pen.

Supernote A5X: better writing out of the box, and was very tempted, but for me the deal-breaker as an e-reader: NO LANDSCAPE mode! 3. Tie: - Elipsa: great e-reader but the writing is laggy; fewer features than others (Dunno about exporting) He recommends people to get a regular tablet over this, unless you are trying to protect your eyesight. For me personally, as a current reMarkable 2 user (and formerly Supernote A5X and Onyx Nova Air), I don't think I'll get this when it's released with the poor pen latency and poor battery life.
