Jan 24, 2022 · I use both FNIS and Nemesis side-by-side (well, technically Nemesis overrides FNIS), and though it takes a little bit of tweaking, it runs fine. Nemesis includes a dummy FNIS plugin that satisfies dependencies, and then Nemesis takes over the animation handling. The trick is getting things organized in your data folder in a way that makes it happy. That's the thing between the 3 of them they have everything covered although the same can be said for 2 of them as DAR and Nemesis have it all covered because Nemesis adds a dummy FNIS plugin. To uninstall FNIS, I used its tool as normal with nothing checked, and then I completely uninstalled it with Vortex, and disabled any remaining plugins. Then I installed Nemesis, clicked "Update Engine", checkmarked every mod I had, and clicked the "Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine" button. EDIT: Entirely unrelated to Nemesis or FNIS, but I just ...FNIS.. simply because that's how I got started (since dozens of mods rely on it) and also because Vortex has build-in FNIS support (as in: it can re-run FNIS to generate all the required data as soon as you add or remove (careful with that!) a mod.
