Brand new cd skipping
Nov 5, 2011 #1. INFINITI FX Member. I'm having issues with my cd player in my 05 fx35. It skips so much and its not the cd i have put new cd's in and it still tends to skip. I have noticed if i turn my car on and let the cd player run for about 10 - 15 minutes it will work okay and it wont skip as often. I've recently bpught a few brand new CD's and all of them skip when i try to play them. For homemade media, try a different brand of disc, different software or different burning settings.
