Wichita State University baseball will host the annual First Pitch Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 29, in the Aetna Multi-Purpose Facility at Charles Koch Arena. This year's event celebrates the 1982 Shocker baseball team, the first in program history to reach the College World Series and the winningest team in the history of college baseball.The First Pitch Banquet helps to raise funds specifically for the baseball program, helping offset the cost of scholarships, team meals, gear, travel, facility upgrades and much more. Individual tickets are $30/person and complimentary parking will be available in Lot A located outside Globe Life Field.
