(PUEBLO WEST, Colo.) — Two individuals were apprehended on Thursday, Jan. 26 following an incident involving a stolen car. The suspects backed the vehicle into a Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) patrol car, then proceeded to drive over a curb and landscaping in an attempt to evade deputies.Throughout its history, the Pueblo County Jail has been the site of several notable incidents. In 1932, a daring escape attempt saw seven inmates break out of the jail, leading to a county-wide manhunt. More recently, in 2008, the jail was the scene of a significant riot, which resulted in substantial property damage but no serious injuries.
