metal sheets and metal bars have the same hp at 5000 when wooden barricades have 1000 hp per plank. personally, i use wooden barricades since they're easier to get and looks a lot nicer. you can also use 2 wooden planks or metal bars to be able to see through the window while still having it protected. While you can get planks by bashing down doors. Chopping down trees and then using a saw to make planks is much more efficient. You'll get a lot more planks from a tree then you will from a door.
