The tire height from the rim to the top of the tread was 7.5 inches (twice) plus the rim size came to a total of (18 + 7.5 + 7.5) 33 inches with a section width of 11.6 inches. This yielded me diagonal measurement of 35 in.

The chart says, that for 33x12's, you need a 4" lift and that you can put on 31-10.5's, if you trim your fenders. They do make 16's in number sizes, in some manufacturers, or atleast they were advertizing them in the above mag. I have a 2004 Silverado ext. cab 4x4. I just recently put a fabtech leveling kit on it which is the new torsion keys and shock extensions. Does anyone have any experience with running either 33/12.50/20 or 35/12.50/20 on a 03-07 chevy 4x4 with just a leveling kit?OP, you will be able to fit a 285/65R18 (32.6") tire on there with no issues with a 2" level. You could also go to a 275/70R18 (33.2" tire) with absolutely no rubbing. A member on here did that tire size (Duratracs) and there was no rubbing on his 2014.
