Hi All, Recently obtained my CCW and shopping around for a new holster (and belt). I have a M&P Shield 9 v1.0 and a generic kydex holster. Wearing it around the house to get used to it. I simply cannot do 12 o'clock or appendix because once I try and sit down it's prevents my leg from bending. Fn 509 c-MRD. The "do everything carry". I had the pleasure of buying the fn 509c-mrd and it has now become my goto "EDC". A few notes on it because it is rarely seen and talked about. It comes red dot ready with a supply of different red dot mounting plates. It comes with a full picatenny rail that is standard.

But…I also have a PDP 4 inch tlr7 holster and it doesn't fit in that one. I ended up going with the viridian here mostly because of the strobe function, and auto on/off when having a magnet installed on the holster. That being said, the light output is not nearly the greatest, only at 100 lumens in constant on and 140 in strobe. Still satisfied regardless.
