On electronic distributors there is a wire up by the passenger side firewall that has to be unplugged while setting the timing. I think it's tan and has a plug on it to unplug. be sure to plug it back in after done timing.I got around to doing the swap today. I figure I should post my findings in case anyone else has the same questions I did. My 366 has a square bore intake and the Edelbrock 1405 is a spread bore.
