Liszt's 10th Transcendental Étude is possibly the most played of the études and has a prominent melody. Passage work for the left hand is rather difficult, while the right hand plays the melody mostly in octaves. Apparently Transcendental Etude no. 12 is very difficult in regards to technique and stamina. I also think the Mephisto Valse would be quite strenuous (long) ... but then again, Liszt is a very demanding composer.
