Each student is associated with a specific research project, where he/she works closely with the faculty and other researchers. Students apply directly to REU Sites (not to NSF directly.)A maximum of 15 credit hours of Chemistry 485 and 491 may be included on the degree plan. B.A. students may take a maximum of 9 credit hours of these courses on a graded (A-F) basis and may include a maximum of 6 credits on the degree plan. There is no guarantee that any financial assistance for such research is available.
