Does tavern brawler work with wild shape bg3

For a dex/ str based monk switching from +3 (17 dex) to +2 (14 str) and using tavern brawler is a difference of +1 (on both damage and attack rolls ONLY for unarmed). If you're wielding a weapon, this does nothing for your main attack, and flurry of blows doesn't interact with it in BG3 either.

Frenzy Barbarian Karlach with the returning pike, savage attacker, and tavern brawler does some absolute work. But nothing beats throwing enemies at each other for comedic value and potentially knocking both prone. I believe savage attacker also applies to improvised weaponsDruid Wild Shapes & Tavern Brawler in Honour Mode. Patch 5 released on November 30 2023 states "Wild Shapes that do not have weapons will now benefit from having the Tavern Brawler feat." They get the To Hit bonus but not the Damage bonus. Still absolutely worth taking though, as it's more or less the only way to boost Wildshape performance. It doesn't work with the elemental forms that use weapons.Basically nothing works in wildshape like it should in 5e. only thing ive found to somewhat work is unarmored defense but you have to not be wearing armor when you wildshape. and the monks level 2 fleet foot. Funnily enough Tavern brawler works Stupidly well as its currently giving you another to hit bonus equal to your shapes str mod.

Probably not worth a feat even if it works. This stemmed from a discussion with a friend that one could describe Tavern Brawler as treating unarmed attacks as improvised weapons (but not the other way around). Technically it does not, but in a vacuum they would work the same way. (not really related to any of this)For all of us, it has been a trying 18 months. Tavern Brawler states: *Increase your Strength or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20. *When you make an unarmed attack, use an improvised weapon, or throw something, your strength modifier is added twice to the damage and Attack Rolls. It seems misleading. Re: Wild Shape tavern brawler feedback. Fledgling # 902601 24/09/23 01:36 PM. It doesnt stack. For bare unarmed attacks if you're already a dex build, it just adds your strength bonus to it normal. If you're a strength build monk, it adds it twice. It is quite literally a damage and hit rate bump as long as you have a positive strength modifier. 14 strength 20 dex gets +2 from str and +5 from dex. BUGS. I know the 5e version of tavern brawler is different but according to the BG3 version you should add double your str modifier to unarmed strikes. However when testing this it only seemed to work with your default unarmed strike as a monk with no weapon equipped. It doesn't seem to work with flurry of blows which I can technically understand.…

5th Edition. A player of mine wants to be a Druid and take the Tavern Brawler feat that allows you to make a grapple check when you attack either unarmed or with an improvised weapon, and have it apply to his natural attacks in beast form. I'm leaning towards not allowing it since an animals natural weapons are a lot different from a human's punch. I heard that druid+ wildheart barbarian sub-class is decent. I am getting mixed reviews on how it works, but I think you can rage then wildshape. Bear rage will give you damage reduction so you are actually tanky+ Tavern brawler feat which works off your new forms strength for bonus damage. 4 barb with 8 druid I guess would be the build?4. DeadSnark. • 8 mo. ago. Monk abilities do not work with Wild Shape or Symbiotic Entity. If the Tavern Brawler feat actually does nothing for a DEX monk that's idiotic, it should (instead of double STR mod) be DEX mod and STR mod for a DEX monk. Edit: Just rolled up a new monk with 12 STR 17 DEX to test this. I had 1d6+3 unarmed strike at 3rd level, took Tavern Brawler at 4th and now have 1d6+4 unarmed strike damage.I have been looking online and it seems every video I find has a different answer on this whole how does Tavern Brawler work with a transformed Druid. grayslake funeral home You need Strength, Dex (for defense), Con, and Wisdom. In BG3 apparently martial arts die, the martial arts bonus attack and flurry of blows work with armor. You can just get medium armor from somewhere and keep DEX at 14.
