Feb 28, 2022 · I have a Litter Robot 3 which I purchased in April 2021. S/N LR3171595. Order #: 1085085. About a week ago the yellow light for the pinch sensor started flashing rapidly. At first I was able to take the unit apart and use a soft brush to clean litter and dust out of the base and this would fix the problem. I would make sure it is seated correctly, and if you want to make extra sure you can remove it and then try a cycle. Always unplug from the back of the unit as opposed to the wall if you want to do a complete reset. Leave it unplugged for 10 mins and then plug it back in. I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together.
