I94 expired but have valid i797
I wouldn't have known this otherwise. My I-94 has expired on 10/28/2018 based on my old passport expiry. My I-797 is expiring on 07/09/2020. My current H1-B visa is expiring on 07/09/2020. I got my new passport issued on 09/12/2018. So basically I-797 is valid, H1-B is valid but I-94 is expired.I94 expired 280 days back but i797 was valid. Needed to file h1b extension with NPT.
