Dodge durango intermittent starting problem
The Dealer may have found the problem. There was a module that controls the accent lights in the door that was faulty. This module is connected with the push start button and the wireless starting module. Hope it fixes the problem. Warranty repair and the dealer is cooperating. So far they did the obvious, wheel balance, tire check, alignment.Cure for start/stall issue I FOUND A SIMPLE WORKAROUND ! I have the same issue with 2012 5.7 liter challenger. SYMPTOMS: Starts and stalls right away. Usually on hot days. Mine stalls about 40% of the time. 2nd start: cranks & cranks but won't start. 3rd start: perfect. An embarrassing problem.

I will say that before my TIPM was replaced I could pull the blower motor relay and it would start functioning again. After a while pulling the relay addressed the issue less and less. The voltage should read 12 or more volts. Now turn the key. If the battery voltage drops substianlly lower (10, 9, 8 volts), then the solenoid is probably OK and your battery's bad (even if it's a new battery) (or something's pulling the battery down (bad starter winding)).
