Subaru eyesight problems
Dec 21, 2022 · #1 · Dec 21, 2022. 2023 OBW - I couldn't sort out why my eyesight system was showing offline at start up the last several mornings. Once I got moving it came back online pretty quickly. This has been happening each morning, since it has dropped below freezing each night. I was using a non-Subaru sun shade that snagged on that felt/foam strip around the Eyesight camera and disabled the system. I guess that's better than the Eyesight system seeing it as an obstacle and not allowing you to drive! 2018 Outback 2.5i Premium.

First stage is a beep and flash on head up lights on windshield. if no intervention by driver and collision still probable, 3 beeps and a pulse of the ABS system. Ok got my 24 Crosstrek in June and love it. But over last couple weeks I’ve been getting an Eyesight Disabled Check Manual message.
