If you want a specific class mod look at dedicated loot drop table. Otherwise a boss like graveyard, agonizer, or wotan drop a lot of world drops and those can be the class mods. After opening the first chest, check the map and see where the item you want is in relation to the murdercane and try and plan your run to get its chest at the latest possible time.
