TBC fault can mean many things -- one of which is a shorted trailer plug or harness along the frame. can also mean the brake pressure switch -- center mounted on the brake master cyl. or the speed sensor (VSS) In my defense, I was unsupervised. .Apparentely there is a sensor in the master brake cylinder that sends a signal to the brake controller, the sensor is probably faulty. The sensor cannot be replaced separately. A complete master cylinder must be replaced.
