They provide advice on issues such as land reclamation and environmental pollution. As an environmental geologist, it is my job to study how the physical environment, such as soils and rocks, are affected by changes in climate, land use, and pollution. By understanding how these factors interact, I can help to mitigate the negative effects of human activities and ensure that our planet remains a healthy, safe place to live.If consulting geologists' jobs sound complicated, that's because it is.
